A Warm Welcome to Humphrey Butler, TempusNovo Ambassador

Welcoming Humphrey Butler as a TempusNovo Ambassador

We are delighted to announce that Humphrey Butler has kindly agreed to become an ambassador for TempusNovo.

Humphrey is widely recognised as one of the UK’s leading charity auctioneers, with an international reputation built on decades of experience at some of the world’s most prestigious events. From Hong Kong to the Cannes Film Festival, he has taken the hammer at numerous high-profile auctions, raising vital funds for a diverse range of causes including Maggie’s Cancer Care, the Royal Marsden Hospital, the Chaim Sheba Medical Centre in Israel and Cricket Builds Hope for Rwanda. He has also supported TempusNovo through The Yorkshire Charity Clay Days, helping to raise funds for our work.

Although he regularly threatens retirement in the UK, Humphrey continues to enjoy a strong following in the United States. He has been a fixture at the Naples Winter Wine Festival in Florida since 2001. Now recognised as America’s most successful charity wine sale, the festival has raised more than $350 million over its 25-year history.

Humphrey spent over 20 years at Christie’s, holding senior positions in New York, Geneva, Paris and London. During this time, he developed unparalleled expertise across all aspects of the auction business and is now particularly associated with the international jewellery market.

In 2000, he founded Humphrey Butler Ltd, which has since become one of the UK’s most successful independent jewellery dealerships. Based on Pall Mall in London, the firm specialises in important estate jewellery and exceptional gemstones, working discreetly on behalf of top-level private clients from around the world.

We are proud to welcome Humphrey Butler as an ambassador for TempusNovo and look forward to working with him to support our mission and future fundraising initiatives.
