Tempus Novo Welcomes Jill to the Board of Trustees

Tempus Novo is delighted to welcome Jill to our Board of Trustees, bringing with her more than 30 years of commercial, legal, governance and strategic leadership experience.

An experienced commercial lawyer and board adviser, Jill has spent her career helping organisations navigate complex legal governance and strategic challenges across a wide range of sectors. She has held a number of senior leadership positions including General Counsel, Chief Operating Officer and Company Secretary giving her extensive experience of working closely with boards, senior leadership teams and key stakeholders.

Alongside her commercial career Jill has a strong commitment to supporting organisations that create opportunities for people to rebuild their lives and realise their potential.

She brings significant charity governance experience through her role on the Leeds Community Foundation Finance and Regulatory Committee where she has helped support strong governance, regulatory compliance and effective decision making.

Jill is also a qualified teacher and experienced trainer with a passion for developing people and making complex issues practical and accessible. Throughout her career she has worked collaboratively with individuals, leadership teams and organisations to drive positive change combining strong commercial acumen with a genuine sense of social purpose.

Jill is particularly keen to help use her governance and strategic experience to support the charity as it continues to grow and extend its impact.

Her focus will be on helping Tempus Novo create even more opportunities for people leaving prison supporting their successful transition into sustainable employment and helping to reduce reoffending through the stability, purpose and opportunity that meaningful work can provide.

Jill’s appointment brings another wealth of experience to the Tempus Novo Board at an exciting time in the charity’s development and we are thrilled to have her joining the team.
